About the Workshop

Come along to a fun, friendly sewing session where you’ll learn how to make a Morsbag – a reusable fabric tote bag made from donated or upcycled materials. We’ll have both hand sewing and machine sewing options, so whether you’re a beginner or a pro, there’s something for you!

You’ll leave with a finished bag (or two!), new skills, and maybe even new friends.

What’s Included

  • All materials and equipment provided
  • Hand sewing and sewing machines available
  • Free tea, coffee, and snacks
  • A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
  • Just bring yourself – and any spare fabric if you’d like to donate!

Why Morsbags?

Morsbags are washable, reusable bags made by volunteers and given away for free to help cut down on plastic waste. Making them is a brilliant way to upcycle old fabric, learn a skill, and take climate action in a creative, practical way.
