MAGIC TENNER FORTNIGHT
Have you heard? Malton & Norton are Magic Tenner Towns!
This October (4th-19th) we’re celebrating independent businesses and the amazing impact of shopping local. Totally Locally calls this the Magic Tenner – because as a study by the New Economics Foundation shows, spending just £10 with one independent business can generate up to £50 of extra spend in the local economy, as that tenner is passed on to suppliers, services, and other nearby businesses.
As a way of thanking everyone who spends £10 locally, businesses will be offering loads of amazing £10 offers over the two weeks and showing how many local suppliers & businesses they spend with. Check out our socials to see the offers as they pop-up!
If you’re a local independent business and want to take part, the posters can be picked-up from Interiors at Nine to Eleven and The Topiary Tree.
We’re also launching the Totally Locally campaign around town too and there are some more printed goodies for this – the Declaration of Independents, Manifesto and We Recommend.
