Circular Hub On The High Street

Building a local sustainable community

The Circular Hub inspires sustainable living through hands-on resources, including upcycling workshops, pre-loved fashion, and repair cafés. We focus on reducing waste by providing guidance on simple, impactful actions. It is a dedicated space where the community can share skills and learn to live more circularly every day.

Energy Square

Powering a Resilient Future

Energy Square is a community-led project powering local growth as a decarbonising business park. By combining food waste conversion with solar and heat pump technology, we provide the food and farming sectors with low-cost, decarbonised power. This resilient private network allows businesses to decarbonise without capital costs, securing stable prices and ensuring local energy stays local to help our town flourish.

Repair Cafe

COMING SOON TO MALTON & NORTON

It is time we established a regular repair service in town. Supported by Repair Café International and other valuable repair cafés in Ryedale and beyond, we have joined forces with Malton & Norton Environment Group to bring this new initiative to life. We are now seeking a range of volunteers with a variety of skills or interest to make this a regular service that is fun for all involved.

WOW Wheelgate

Revitalising Our Town Centre

Supported by the York and North Yorkshire Mayor, this project revitalises our high street through loyalty schemes and retail competitions. It is a successful, people-centred model designed to boost footfall, support independent businesses, and bring new life to Wheelgate through community-led economic regeneration.
