Circular Malton and Norton CIC is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to transform Malton and Norton into the first circular economy town—one that reduces waste, promotes upcycling and repurposing, and strengthens our community bonds. We aim to make a positive impact on our towns, protect the environment, and bring people together.

Celebrating two years in our shop! Ryedale Remakes
Ryedale Remakes is our unique shop and studio currently located at 6-8 Railway Street, Malton. Launched two years ago in January 2023, our shop is full of wonderful and uniquely transformed items destined for landfill which are ideal for use around the home or treasured gifts. Why not come and browse or speak to us about commissioning your own item.
Volunteers Wanted
If you have woodworking or joinery skills—or just some time to spare—we’d love your help in our shop and workshop. There are plenty of ways to get involved, from supporting in the workshop to welcoming visitors and arranging upcycling projects. No experience needed, just a willingness to join in—we’ll support you all the way.
Workshops
The first few months of 2025 were very busy for us. We delivered our first set of workshops which were a huge success.
We’re planning a series of fun and eco-friendly craft workshops, including Paper Rose crafting, soft fabric creations (not toys), and Decoupage. Stay tuned for dates and details—coming soon!
